Fast & Furious 7 : Movie review

 Fast and Furious.. yet emotional

The movie tributes Paul walker who has been the most important character very next to Vin Diesel.
It’s a treat for all the car lovers and the followers of the fast and furious franchise.  Have to admit that it was Fast and Furious series which showed us the unseen fast cars, American Muscle power, Classy Drifts, Drags, cop chase and crazy plans of robbery.

To start with, it gives me Goosebumps to see Jason Statham to be part of the crew, Statham(Shaw) plays the role of a big bad brother of Owen Shah who was hit by the Dom crew in the last edition. His motto is plain and simple.. To destroy Dom's Family.

There is another group of gangsters just to keep them in the game who kidnaps Ramsey(a lady hacker role which Deepika Padukone had refused) who has invented 'Gods Eye' a surveillance/tracking device. Kurt Russell played as Mr.Nobody has a job for Dom and the crew to save her. As Dom says 'this time it aint just about being  fast' which explains there is lot more than just a drag or drift, A sky dive of cars to touch down the unreacheable roads, breathtaking run of O'Connor from the falling bus and Letty's full drift to pick him up.. Goodness I was on the edge of my seat. Not to forgot Gibson's humor makes you laugh out every moment.
Post ramsay rescue, they pull off to Abu Dhabi..to get the chip from a trustworthy friend... (remember Joy Lobo from 3 Idiots) Here starts luxury when the crew gets into the most secured towers to steal the chip. Just forget all the laws of physics and watch this scene for the classiest car jump ever in Hollywood.
The Lykan HyperSport $3.4 Million was worth every penny to be jumped from the triple towers.
With the help of Gods eye Dom finds Shaw and gets rattled by the Gangsters looking for the Gods eye. The crew gets back to their own lands for the final battle against Shaw and the gangsters.
The moment Dom steps inside his own garage you will lean forward and whistle when he uncovers the epic  Dodge Charger he is been carrying all through the series.

The final battle
Dom vs Shaw -- The Battle of the year which we have all been waiting for, Aston martin Vs Dodge Charger, the gladiator moment when both rushing into each other. Just when you get disappointed that Dom doesn’t do a wheelie… there it is .. Boom.. A wheelie just when its about to hit... No other movie in this world can give you this. A street fight with heavy rods suited the players better than a gun.

Gangsters vs the Dom crew - The Drone which follows up to kill Ramsey is a chase worth watching. Car to Car shift while it drifts though it looked impossible  but shot well taken.

The Rock - Cant miss Dwayne Rock Johnson fighting Statham and that one freaking ''rock bottom'' he smacks where the camera rolls the same way…..Mind-Blown..Best rock bottom ever.

To the end - It’s a respectful thing that the movie didn’t kill Paul, he lives in everyone's memory as a Good hearted drive crazy cop. To be honest I din know they have cast his brother Cody as his Body double to complete the rest of the scenes after his demise, until I read about it post movie. Thanks to technology !!!
Its truly emotional to watch the last 5minutes.

To rate - 4 out of 5 Though there is no much script in the movie which we cant expect in this genre, it kept me intact for every scene as its loaded with action. Not too many cars shown yet it dint make difference cos this time it was just not about cars. Kudos to the creative cinematography.
Best dialogue of the movie - I am the cavalry

Future of F&F - Hoping they wont stop the series, Since Stathom can replace Paul's exit.

#MenWomen

All mixed thoughts over the #viralvideo on my wall. Here's my view as well.
The video has some effective words gottu admit they have set to show every emotion n expression a women can have. Just couldn't infer who is 'you' being referred to..if it's Men it is  referred to then I agree on other ppl condemning the video. The men (rapists/abusers) whom the video targets are probably not even watching it, cos they don't care.
True that the girl shouldn't be asked questions if she comes home at 4am, but are you really ok if you are not taken care? Promise men that you won't say you are avoiding me n stuff.
Now coming to sexism Why every feminism fight links with talk about having sex? There r better things which empower women than having said about pre-marital sex or extra marital sex. Freedom should not be misinterpreted.
"Having your baby or not is my choice?" Very true it's always been the girl's choice.. Fun fact.. 8 Out of 10 men hinder the talks about having a baby.
"You re my option and not your privilege" that's right baby that's how the world of the men are treating women till now..and you were complaining about it till date.
'My love can be temporary' hahahaha funny line.. When was it permanent..?? No offence to true lovers :P
All in all.. Good video..Monday wasn't boring though got to read some positive things cos of it..could see some women supporting men. I would have liked it if it said EmpowerHuman. By the way Vogue's endorsement purpose is fulfiled With the burning topic. I wouldn't blame deepika cos we all jus blamed anushka...not the same mistake again. Dp has jus acted..n given voice..To blame is the men who directed it.

The Winter City - Bengaluru

Cold winds are on their way, been waiting for 2 long years to rejoice this weather in Bengaluru. The Garden city was gifted with pleasant weather all through the year; even walk-ins from rest of the states have no second thoughts about it. But a winter in here is always a special one. You know its winter when you pull another thick blanket over you and get back to sleep for an hour more. you know its winter when you start disliking AC in office, You know its winter when you start feeling you are in need of a sweater or a nice pullover to walk out of the house. You know its winter when you need a coffee every now and then looking out and feeling the cold breeze. You know its winter when your solar heater doesn't give you hot water anymore and you end up shivering after the cold shower.

While I write this I have a great view of sky from my cubicle, Can see electronic city express way to my eye level and the light blue background of clouded sky drizzling in slow motion... Just picturesque, its just a trailer yet. Asked a friend what he thought of winter days in Bangalore, Sachin says winter is the time for comfort, for good food at a nearby restro, the touch of a friendly hand, a talk beside the fire, and ofcourse Chill out with friends with a beer in Beer club. Another co worker, a girl from Nainital says winter isn't a winter at all in Bangalore... Winter is when you need heaters in your room and thick woolen sweaters covered till finger tips which she has witnessed back in north. But she still loves the pleasant winter in here which doesn't impact our routine and lets us chillax with warm clothes and hot coffee. We all agree that we don’t have snowfall nor rich fog around us but that natural smoke which comes out when when we breath out in the winter mornings delights us to life. A long drive in an open road clears out mind gives the feel of an hill station, a touch of dew on the grass in an open park takes us back to childhood.

Winter is never a good news for Engg Students whose semester exams fall during winter, ah that phase of life which even I have come across, neither could stay up late nor could have got up in the morning to study. For the rest it’s the most romantic time of the year, couples cuddle in to feel warmth. Singles curse themselves if only they hadn't broke up.

Food in winter is certainly yummier than any other season specially the hot and spicy ones. Hot Bajji, Pakode, MasalaPuri, Full hold Corn...Oh wait!! Not to disappoint the non-veggies chilly chicken, Butter chicken and what not.  Also to mention sometimes an ice cream in the freezing cold is an insanely nice feeling. It’s a feast for those likes to cook back at home, have already started with French fries and Bajji, next in list are hot soup and Aloo bonda and yes you are invited...!!!

What's an Ideal Sunday in winter?  An early morning walk in LalBagh feeling the fresh air, Idly/Coffee in Brahmins Cafe, Full meals in MTR, an evening walk in Sankey with BhelPuri & Butter chicken/Garlic naan in a Punjabi restaurant.  At the end of winter I want to say... Been there done that.

Winter is Coming...Signing off with a cup of hot coffee…!!!

Interstellar - Its not Just a movie, its a Nolanography

Emotions - Movie starts with the father-daughter love, their passion for science and Murph (Named after Murphy's Law) getting onto the steps of her father.  Hathaway 's love for Edmund (unknown in the movie) which beacons till the end.
Mr. X (surprise) who was ready to do anything for the love of mankind. The style of emotions is unlike any other movies.

Humor - Nolan surprises with pickle of humor every now and then,  TARS Humor % settings, Coops Dad sarcasm, Couple of coops & Brand conversations.. I definitely giggled on the jokes in between the silent space.

Science - 'Beautifully explained yet left blank faces' is the definition of the science in the movie. For the love of science I want to watch the movie again with some homework done. Use of Centrifugal force for Endurance, Black Hole, Worm hole, Morse, Time Dilation, Quantum Data, 5 Dimensions, Singularity are best described all across. Could never figure out what the dimensions they meant, nevertheless few things are best left ungrasped.

Graphics - #Gravity was a master piece in graphics, this is no less. The design of Endurance, Design of Black hole, Worm Hole, the scene when Cooper settles back to endurance even after the wreckage is nerve biting.  Nolan was too modest to release it in 3D, Graphics are best viewed in our 576MP eyes and not necessarily with glasses on it.

Cast -Matthew McConaughey  -Cooper
- Can say movie is all about him and Murph, he takes the center stage and drives us into space beautifully with timely acts.
Anne Hathaway - Ms.Brand She justifies the role of being emotional, determined & confused . No complaints of her.
Mackenzie Foy - Murph - The girl from 'The Conjuring' and the 'The breaking dawn' has a long way to go… A gift to Hollywood. Well performed as a daughter, as a curious young girl in search of answers.
Mr. 'X' - Naming him would be a spoiler, this man was the best surprise I had in the movie. Short role but the stronger one. Always makes his presence felt.
TARS & CASE - A Simple but brilliantly designed ROBOTs without them the movie couldn’t have been made.
Rest have done their jobs pretty well.

Concept - Nolans' put in a worm in the brains to think before, during and after the movie. Inception kept us Awed.. With dream inside a dream. This one is much cooler 'the Ghost', 'they',  'those are waves not mountains', 'Slingshot' , 'Gravitational Anomaly'  '1 hour = 7 years' and much more.  Vivid black hole and singularity inside it kept me amazed and amused thinking, how can anybody possibly imagine that. Use of Blight and Dust to slowly wash out earth and not like any other doomsday movie which will burn earth in a day or two is a pretty good move. Cooper Station and the dimensions created though weren't clearly explained, it made sense to me that earth is no more and they needed an artificially built place, a better one than earth.
Best 'imagined + Science Applied' movie made ever.
Appreciating the good and new2eye thing, and just not crib about few flaws which are noticeable.

HUNGaMA ( Hunger and Malnutrition )

On a occasion of World Hunger day I’d like to reboot the Indian inside, A nation where population is just another number, we ought to celebrate with the day with pride. We being top of the of the table in terms of population, inevitably hold the maximum ratio in Hunger too.1/3rd of the Worlds hungry population live in India..Claps!!! Let me explain the sarcasm behind it, a recent news on grains rotten in a storage in Punjab made me sick, Around 4 lakh quintals of wheat has rotten completely, India’s food grain production may be at an all time high this year with numbers likely to touch 250 million tones but what’s the use of it where 23 crore people go hungry everyday. Among 150,000 people who die in a day 7000 of them die out of hunger, its not visible to us since we all live in luxurious apartments, brand cars, pizzas and KFCs .So On behalf of  50th year celebration of world hunger day let us take a small step against this HUNGaMA (Hunger and Malnutrition).
Lets see these two instances , when I was in hostel there was a quote written in hostel mess ‘A morsel saved is a Life Saved’ we saw that daily but never gave importance to it and wasted food If it wasn’t tasty, but time arrived to realize the fact that over 20 crores sleep hungry every night..i didn’t repeat the mistake. Another impressive hoarding which is put up in my office cafeteria, which shows amount of food, wasted in kgs the past day and how many hungry people it would serve. Simple but so effective, which makes us think twice before wasting any food on the plate. Taking help of these two instances we can figure out our own way of serving the cause. Even you know that its utter waste of time thinking about what the so called gov’t is doing to eradicate these. The fact is they are so busy attending jails and court sessions than attending a parliament session.
As our Indian Constitution says ‘We the People of India’ means it’s just us... who can change some unhealthy happenings of the nation, its time to stop relying on those crorepati ministers. Serving people is serving nation, there’s no need to put down extra hours in order to do something good useful to the country. Just give a thought about this while having your food next time, else it wouldn’t enter our busy brains. Nonetheless water is precious too don’t even think about wasting it.

Survive, Live and Lead.

The blog name seems flicked from a known processor company's tagline, but this thought came to my mind when I was thinking about our own nation..Its so easy to blame on any politicians or any corrupt officials for the fate of this richly poor country..But when we think of our own contribution to mother nation, its nil most of us get no answer for this question, I see so many social happenings around me but my participation in those doesn't go out of finger count. Of-course everyone is concerned about their time and their money which inevitably tops the priority table, if we think for a minute about how useful are we for the welfare of this soil, realises the reality. I'm not talking about going on for a rally holding a board written slogans and punchlines or fasting for a cause, that's nothin but a showoff to come up on news channels, there are no doubt thousands of social problems just in half a km radius.. When I say 'social' it means us...If you think we are an integral part of this society then we must be an integral part of the problems too.
Choose 5 problems among them just five. According to me One and the best among them is illiteracy, In today's life education is just meant to be bought, the school fees is at the heights..Its a nightmare for many lower middle class and the so called BPL families to even enter the gates of primary schools. I bet we gonna find atleast 10kids around our houses who's not gettin any education, We may feel pity for them but that's not gonna help them is it, pick two kids of decent age, ask them one simple question 'what do you want to become while you grow up' how ever kiddish the kid may be but he's gonna answer something really nice to it, rest is upon us to think what to teach that kid...education has many faces its not only the bookish knowledge which feeds us, teach them basic things with which he can SURVIVE like language, give them the foundation for his dream from which he can LIVE , teach them to dream from which he can LEAD. Above three words which are stressed are undoubtedly three different phases which everyone has come across.
An hour a day or may be a weekend if we give our time on just two kids, its tiny but a quality contribution to the country.. If 100 educated people can make up 200kids life, just do the math if rest of the population wakes up, from Aryabhatta who gave 'zero' to this world to Ajay Bhat,co-inventor of USB, its Indians who have made the life easy to the world but why on earth all the problems reside in our nation,as I was talking about giving those kids little bit of education, teach them how to gain knowledge and your work is done. Our country has the brightest brand of kids all they need is just a little push. I mentioned to take up 5problems in the beginning but we ll find answers to rest of the four if we succeed in our first initiative. The true happiness lies in doing a good deed without expecting anything in return, 'There are still few things in this world which money can't buy' this above punchline is for those who thinks what are they getting out of this !Enough said,
now its time for me to teach my neighbour kids little bit drawing
...signing off.

India and the chequered flag.

A nation where most of the people buckle up in front of television to watch a game of cricket, its hard to exclaim any other sport. But its proven wrong by the crowd who reached up to the 'NICE' tracks of Bangalore to witness the real hotwheels, former world champion lewis Hamilton did not disappoint the incredible turnout. The vroom of his MP4-23 car is gonna stay at every one's mind for longtime.
Another stampeded gathering was at the argentina vs venezuela soccer game at kolkata, no wonder every eye was on the Masterchief of soccer lionel Messi who's game is undoubtedly a treat to watch. Happy to mention about the uphilling support of non cricketing games by the government too, A successful Common wealth game even after suresh kalmadi's blunder, an international soccer game and now the most awaited Indian Grand prix, Formula One being one of the highest forms of sport is catching up to every  Indian hearts. The Buddh International  Circuit in greater Noida is built of worth 15billion with the initial seating capacity speculated to be around 150,000. Airtel at its peak in marketting is sponsoring the bash. Better late than never country has reached another milestone interms of international sports until now. Well if we talk about the showstoppers Sebastian Vettel (redbull)at his best form leading with 309 points followed by Button(mcleren) way behind at 185 points this season.
No doubt the show is gonna be insane with all the die hard fans of formula one.The stage is set, countdown begins and the nation is on their feet to watch out the class of racing, wheelspins..crazy rides..top speeds and the wave of the Chequered flag.
